RPO Malakand inaugurates new building of police station in Shangla

SHANGLA: Regional Police Officer Malakand division Muhammad Ijaz Khan has said that they are striving to make the police department political interference-free and provide justice to complainants in an easy way.
The RPO Malakand Muhammad Ijaz Khan was addressing at the inaugural ceremony of the newly built building of the police station Dandai in Bisham tehsil here on Wednesday. DPO Shangla Rahim Shah Khan, SDPO Bisham, Zahid Khan, local elders and political leaders of the different parties were present on the occasion.
RPO Malakand division, Muhammad Ijaz said Shangla people had been playing a due role in maintaining peace since the terrorism in the region and Bisham tehsil was among the regions where peace maintained.
“It was the police and public collective efforts that record number of tourists visited our region for the first time in winter. Last month there was no space for the tourists in hotels at Swat in this winter,” He said.
He urged the people to keep their ears and eyes open and extend their support to police for maintaining peace in the region which would also help the entire division in promoting tourism.
RPO Malakand, said force namely China Pakistan Economic Corridor CPEC Force had been recruited and being deployed on the CPEC routes for the security of the routes and transportation.
He urged the people to tell truth by being witnesses in the cases because one day all had to answer to Almighty ALLAH.
While speaking to journalists, RPO Malakand said they were striving to make the police department political interfering free and people should complaint to high ups incase police favoring any party in the case, tempering or involved in corruption.
Elders Bakht Alam, Sharafat Ali, Tahir Khan, Amad Ahmed Khan and others appreciated police and thanked the RPO for establishing a new building for PS Dandai also demanded timely promotion of police officers and establishment of police post at Sarkool, Chakesar.
RPO assured the elders that the issues raised by the elders would be addressed soon.
