Shangla lady police gets awards for performance

SHANGLA: District police officer Shangla has rewarded the lady police officials with net cash and certificates for their better performance in local body by-election, which were held recently.
A statement issued by the DPO Shangla office here on Saturday said that first time in the history of Shangla police the lady police constables and officers were appreciated for their best performance and the DPO distributed net cash and appreciation certificates here during a ceremony at DPO office in Alpuri.
It said while addressing the ceremony the DPO said that the lady police overall performance in operation and investigative matters was also good, while they dealt the women voters in sensitive poling stations in good way and the by-election was held peacefully, although women voters in union council based turn up for vote in large number in the area.
He said the lady police have played a vital role in holding peaceful by-election, while he was hopeful they would more enhance their performance in future.
“The aim of rewarding women police was to encourage them and they could work with more passion because in such hard areas the women efforts should be recognized,” the DPO said
He urged the lady police constables to perform their duty with devotion and avoid all sort of cares and interferences of the people, adding they have to stabilize the law and enforcement and name of the police department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with best performance.
Gulshan, a lady police said that first time since she joined the police department her performance was recognized at last and she was thankful to the DPO Shangla who gave honour to lady police including her.
She said it would enhance their passion of duty and they would perform their duty with more devotion and enthusiasm.
Ishrat Bibi another lady police said she has never been appreciated by any police officer but there were no bounds of their joys today because their performed duty at last got recognition.
