Flour mill owners in Bisham agreed to supply flour to local traders on subsidized rate

SHANGLA: Tehsil administration Bisham held negotiations with flour mill owners to provide 20kg flour bags to local traders on subsidised rate.

Bisham assistant commissioner Khuram Rehman Jadoon told mediapersons that he had a meeting with local millers and they agreed to supply 20kg bags to traders for Rs950 per bag. He said it would be sold at Rs970 per bag to consumers.

AC Bisham also instructed the traders to ensure provision of flour to consumers and avoid overcharging the consumers otherwise legal action would be taken against the violators.

Meanwhile, Shangla police claimed to have arrested 27 people and registered cases against them for violating lockdown in the district. A statement issued by the district police officer, Shangla, Malik Ijaz, said that police have been deployed at all entry and exit points.
