11 shopkeeper and hoteliers booked and several others fined in Shangla

SHANGLA: The tehsil administration Alpuri here on Thursday booked 11 shopkeepers, hoteliers, Nanbai and several others fined at Karora, Kuz Kana, Shahpur bazaars for not maintaining cleanliness and overcharging the consumers.
The assistant commissioner, Alpuri, Noor Nawaz Khan accompanied by police and revenue officials inspected different markets in various bazaars of Alpuri tehsil and checked different grocery items and also the weight of the bread in Nanbais and cleanliness in hotels, cafes and found hotels and cafes unhygienic.
AC Alpuri on the occasion booked 11 shopkeepers, hoteliers, and several others fined with thousands of rupees and instructed traders to maintain cleanliness in their hotels and also avoid overcharging and making artificial price hike by increasing the food and non-food items prices.
Meanwhile, Assistant commissioner, Bisham, Khuram Rehman imposed fined a chicken dealer for selling chicken with per piece instead of weight.
AC Bisham conducted a raid on the public complaints on Thursday and arrested the chicken dealer and later fined him with Rs 20,000 and asked him to avoid violation of rules and regulations.
