Martyred Army soldier laid to rest with military honour in Shangla

The Pakistan Army soldier martyred in a terrorist attack at Taftan in Balochistan the other day was laid to rest with military honour here at his native town in Ranyal of Alpuri tehsil on Saturday.

The martyred military personal Umar Ali’s body was brought to his native village Ranyal Marin in Shangla by the Pakistan Army on Friday night, however, a funeral was offered on Saturday morning which was attended by the military officers, district police officer, Shangla, political leaders and elders of the district.

The martyred soldier was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard after being given a military honour and salute by the troops and army and police senior officials and flower bouquets were also laid on his grave on the occasion.

The police and Army officials also met the martyred soldier’s family and assured them that he would be available for his cooperation.

DPO told the journalists on the occasion that if today this country was protected from threats and secure that was just because of the sacrifices of the Army and police who rendered their lives for the safety of the nation and their soil.
The martyred solider was young and has been serving in the Pak-Army for the last six years.
