Imran Khan arrest; local leaders in Shangla send behind bars, Ban imposes on gathering

SHANGLA: The Puran tehsil sub-divisional police officer, Sher Hassan conducted a raid on the PTI’s rally being held in Aloch Bazaar and arrested the tehsil chairman, Puran, Abdul Maula, and his family members also the local leaders from the rally.
The police remain vigilant across the district and contingents were seen in the major points of the district after the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan from his house in Lahore.
Also on the day the Shangla deputy commissioner, Hassan Abid imposed a ban on gathering and uploading posts regarding the former prime minister Imran Khan’s arrest on social media in order to maintain the law and order situation in the district.
The notification issued by the DC Shangla said the ban would remain imposed until September, 05 of next month and the violator would be taken into custody.
