Defense day observed as Kashmir solidarity day across Shangla

Defense and Martyers day observe across the Shangla district and marked as solidarity day.

The main event was arranged at the college hall in Alpuri by the district administration Shangla. Where deputy commissioner Shangla Imran Hussain Ranja was the chief guest. DPO Shangla Syed Rasool Shah, Assistant commissioner Alpuri Fida-ul-Karim former local body members, line department officials, social activists, teachers, and school students were in attendance.

While addressing at the defense day event, DC Shangla Imran Hussain Ranja, said, Kashmir is the Aorta of Pakistan and Pakistanis have brethren relations with the Kashmiri people.

“We have to support the Kashmir cause and can render our lives for the Kashmiri people. We need to be united for the Kashmir cause where the majority is the Muslim population but the Indian’s forces hostiled them for over a month.

He said Pakhtuns had played a key role while fighting with the Indian forces and got freedom for Kashmir.

DPO Shangla Syed Rasool Shah, said, every year they celebrate the defense day to remember those who rendered their lives during the fight with India in 1965 and can never forget the sacrifices of them.

Assistant Commissioner Alpuri, Fida-ul-Karim, said, While revoking article 370 a special status of Kashmir and genocide of Kashmiri Muslims it proved that India afraid of Muslim and Pakistan.
He said, united nations should take action on the Kashmir situation and get ended long curfew and aggression of the Indian forces towards the innocent Kashmeris.

Later on, a walk was also held which led by DC Shangla, the participants chanted slogans in support of the Kashmir and Pakistan Army and also against India and its prime minister Narendra Modi.
