ANP lawmaker’s residence attacked in Shangla for second time

Unknown assailants attacked the Awami National Party’s member provincial assembly, Faisal Zeb Khan house at Titwalan area of Shangla on Thursday night for second time in the last two months, however, the terrorist manage to escape after police security present at his residence responded.

The ANP’s provincial joint secretory and MPA elect from Shangla PK-24 constituency told The Northern Post that his house in village attacked for the second time in the last two months, however no human loss reported.

“I am at Peshawar and was informed at night by other family members that a group of assailants came to our Hujra and shooting straight to the house but luckily police deployed at my house responded to them and they fled the scene,” He said.

Police spokesperson, Umar Rehman told that the district police officer left for the spot of the incident and he would issue a statement upon return from the scene, however the firing incident took place midnight and no casualty or injury reported.

“Provincial government has been failed in maintaining law and order situation in the province. Our provincial general secretory was also threatened by militants two days ago,” He said and added that once again their party is being targeted.

ANP’s woman MPA from Peshawar Samar Haroon Bilour twetted the Lawmaker statement he issued regarding the attack.
