Rawalpindi police have registered a case against a man who allegedly deceived a matric student with a fake marriage proposal, sexually assaulted her multiple times, and blackmailed her using recorded videos.
According to police, the incident took place in the jurisdiction of Khayala Kalan, Saddar Bairooni police station. The accused, Naqash, befriended the victim through her female friend, who introduced him as her brother. Under the pretext of marriage, Naqash repeatedly assaulted the girl and recorded the acts.
Later, Naqash’s cousin, Basit, allegedly threatened to leak the videos and further blackmailed the victim into maintaining a relationship. When the girl refused, the accused reportedly harassed her and circulated the footage.
The victim’s father filed a complaint, leading to the registration of an FIR. Police have arrested one suspect while searching for the other. Investigations are ongoing.
