Three died in tragic incident in Kohistan Upper

Three workers died after they came under the wood the were being supplied to Karakoram Highway through a wood made path.

The accident took place in Zaid Khar area of Upper Kohistan. According to the information received from the area, a timber contractor had constructed a log chain to transport timber to Karakoram Highway (KKH). Every labourer was working to deliver it to KKH. Many of them have fallen into the drain when a large quantity of timber broke loose while delivering the chain.

The tragedy occurred at approximately 10:30 am. Initial reports indicate that three workers have died. Search efforts are underway for Sher Zaman, who remains missing. The injured include Akbar and Syed Nabi.
