Youth from different areas in Bisham tehsil said they got huge talent for sports and if given opportunities and trainings could easily represent Pakistan on International Level.
They expressed their views during a launching match of a cricket tournament here at Bisham on Saturday. The tournament was being organized by Sarhad Rural Support Program SRSP under innovative program for youth and sport activity.
Sub-divisional police officer, Muhammad Zaman Khan was the chief guest on the occasion, while local village council nazim Nosherwan and district program manager SRSP Abdul Qahar and others were present.
While addressing the launching ceremony, DSP Muhammad Zaman urged the youth to take part in sports activities kept themselves away from drugs, especially Ice as nowadays students addicted of it.
“We need to create awareness among youth and parents should keep watching on them because we have to save our youth class from addiction of drugs,” He said.
He said sport gives energy and keeps human beings active and healthy, therefore he would suggest to new generation to entertain themselves by taking part in sports activities.
A match was play on the occasion between Khushal cricket club and Shaheen cricket club teams in which Khushal cricket club has defeated to Shaheen cricket club by 9 wickets.
The players on the occasion told media persons that they have huge talent particularly in sports but lack of grounds and opportunities they could not utilize properly.
Ajmal Khan, a winning captain said that MPAs and MNAs in various tenures had made promises with the of construction grounds and provision of opportunities but to no avail.
He said as Imran Khan had also announced a play ground for Bisham tehsil in his visit before came into rule but yet to failed in implementation, however they demanded of the government to construction playground as soon as possible so that they could play utilize their talent in cricket matches.
