Shangla traders protest Peshawar deadly attack on police

The local traders of Bailay baba bazaar blocked the Bisham-Swat road and staged a protest rally against the suicide bombing incident at the police line in Peshawar and demanded protection for people.

The protest rally was called by the local trade association of Baily Baba bazaar and blocked the Bisham-Swat road at the main bazaar of Baily Baba. The traders and local people participated in the demonstration and chanted slogans for sustainable peace and the protection of citizens.
Traders Bacha Sultan, Abid Yar, Gul Rehman, Amjad Ali, Khan Bahadur, Gul Hamroz, and Muhammad Alam addressed the protest rally.

They said that they had been fed up with terrorism as Pashtuns were being targeted and their precious lives were taken in so-called terrorism.

Bacha Sultan said Pakhtuns were eager for peace and joyful life but the terrorism was unending and its resurgence had created panic across the province and also causing of business loss for them.
Abid Yar said they were now ready to encounter terrorism by themselves and would never let anyone sabotage the province’s peace and would remain standing by the police.

He said thousands of police had rendered their lives in the line of duty and most of this so-called terrorism which was now should be stopped and state institutions to protect the public lives.

Gul Hamroz said if the police were not safe in this province who was supposed to safeguard the people, how they would live in peace?
He said they wanted peace and protection of people in the province and an end to further Pakhtun genocide.
