SHANGLA: The minister for labor and culture, Shaukat Yousafzai has formally launched Sehat Insaf Cards facility in Shangla, an entire population of 750,000 people would get benefits from the facility across the district, each identity cardholder would spend Rs one million from the card.
Mr Yousafzai inaugurated the Sehat Insaf cards here at Bisham on Tuesday. Deputy Commissioner, Shangla, Hamid Ur Rehman and district police officer, Shangla, Asif Gohar and PTI’s local leaders were present.
Addressing the Sehat Insaf Cards Launching Ceremony, The Minister labor and culture said in this phase all major private hospitals would treat patients on the Sehat Insaf Cards because the government wanted to ensure primary healthcare facilities at every place of the province.
He added that the project was designed to get free health care through the Sehat Insaf Cards and 40 million people across the province would go to the hospitals for their free treatment on the Sehat Insaf Cards.
Minister urged the district department heads to strictly avoid recommendations and end this culture and refuse to anyone if coming even on his name.
“Development work is continued across the PK-23 constituency but opposition parties are creating hurdles in the progress of the district and obtained stay order on the uplift projects by PML-N former district nazim due to which execution of the schemes yet to started,” He claimed.
He said the Pakistan Democratic Movement PDM was also trying to halt the country’s development and putting the entire nation at risk of being infected with covid-19 by holding rallies despite day by day increase in the infection cases.
“I have inquired about the space for covid-19 patients in all the major hospitals of the Peshawar where beds are filled with the covid-19 patients and fatality rate is also increased but the opposition parties have no concern of the public because due to their rallies the virus can grip the entire country,” He added.
The minister said the government would use all his machinery to stop the Mulana Fazal rallies he announced to hold in Peshawar which can cause the spread of the virus.
“It is a pure terrorism asking the public to come out for rallies where world health organisation is appealing to adopt SOPs to protect themselves from the virus infection,” He said.
Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan was supposed to inaugurate the scheme in Shangla but due to weather problem, he could not come for the inauguration.
