Rallies were held in various parts of Northern areas, including Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Swat and other areas on Wednesday in solidarity with Kashmeri people.
In Shangla district, a large number of students, civil society members, teachers and traders participated in the rally, while markets remained closed in protest against India and in support of Kashmir’s residents.

In Bisham, a rally was taken out on the Karakoram Highway in which participants shouted slogans against the Indian prime minister and in support of Kashmiris.
Addressing the rally speakers condemned the Indian army’s aggression in held Kashmir also the revocation of the article 370, a special status of the Indian occupied Kashmir.
They demanded the United nations and amnesty international to take action on the Indian aggression in held Kashmir, and push for holding referendum IOK.
In Shangla, ADC Maqbool Hussain at Alpuri, AC Bisham Khuram Rehman Jadoon, in Puran AC Puran led the rallies in their respective areas.
In Kohistan Upper, AC headquarters Anwar Akbar Khan led the Kashmir day rally, where participants shouted slogans against Indian PM Narendra Modi over indian army aggression in Held Kashmir.
Similarly, the rallies taken out in almost every part of the Northern Pakistan and people expressed solidarity with Kashmeri brethren.
