Public complaints on Ihsas program survey

SHANGLA: Local residents in Shangla have complained about the Ihsas Program Survey conducted recently for the poor families financial support, who were suffering due to lockdown in the country amid Covid-19 pandemic.
They told reporters here on Monday that the government had conducted a survey through the programs teams who were political and allegedly registered undeserving people and left deserving daily wagers.
Guldad Khan, a former village council nazim, in Butyal Bisham, said he had a meeting with the assistant commissioner Bisham and informed him about the irregularities and registration of undeserving people.
“The AC assured me that he would convey my complaint to high ups of the program and his seniors and would try his best to conduct the survey through village secretaries,” the former nazim, claimed.
Abdullah, a local resident of Miankaly, alleged that almost people listed with the PTI’s local leaders advice as they had accompanied by the teams during the survey.
“I have seen favouritism in the survey because the lists finalised by the teams were not fair and there were very few deserving people. We want fair survey listing of deserving people who suffer due to the ongoing lockdown,” he said.
Deputy commissioner, Shangla, Imran Hussain Ranjha when contacted in this regard, he told The Northern Post this scribe he also received complaints about the survey, however, additional deputy commissioner, finance and planning who lead the program has been informed about the complaints.
DC Shangla said, the complaints would be brought into consideration, however, the lists of the deserving people have not been finalised because all the list would be filtered with different ways to selected actual deserving people for the government stipend.

AC Bisham, Khuram rehman said, a resident of Kormang, tehsil Bisham had poached the endanger Koklass and local wildlife department Shangla arrested him along the bird and he fined the poacher of Rs 45,000 for illegal hunting.
