SHANGLA: The district administration Shangla launched clean and green Pakistan campaign in Lelonai Shangla here on Tuesday.
An awareness walk held about cleanliness and making the region green under the banner of ongoing major campaign titled Clean and Green Pakistan, Deputy commissioner Shangla Fayaz Sherpaw, police officials and social society members took part in the walk.
The walk participants walked through the Lelonai streets while carrying banners and placards inscribed with the messages about importance of cleanliness and forests.
The DC Shangla Fayaz Ahmed Sherpaw on the occasion asked the traders to make sure clean their front of shops and also surroundings because cleanliness is half of the fait.
He advised the local people to take care of forests because it make they alive by giving them fresh air and healthy environment.
