Poetry book Sandi me Sandari Kare launched in Shangla

SHANGLA: A poetry book written by local poet Mohammad Afsar Khan was launched at a function in Chakesar here on Thursday.

The function was organised by Hafeez-i-Alprui literary circle, which was attended by poets from Malakand and Hazara division. The book titled ‘Sandi Me Sandari Kare’ (I changed the last breath to song) is a poetry collection about romance, failure of system, poverty and backwardness of the region.

Dr Hamdard Yousafzai, Attaullah Jan, Sadam Hussain Lehaz, Umar Ali Ali, Irshad Khaliq, Irfan Sahar, Aqil Zada Aqil and Musa Yousafzai appreciated the writer for his work. On this occasion, poets from various parts of the region also recited their poems. Hamdard Yousafzai said though it was the first publication of poet Mohammad Afsar, his collection and selection was fine wherein he had identified the issues.
