Ruling PTI in lead as first phase of LG polls held in AJK

Pakistan Tehrik-I-Insaf in lead with 33 district council seats in local government elections as polling for the first phase of local government (LG) elections in Muzaffarabad division was held on Sunday in a generally peaceful atmosphere.
In the Municipal Corporation of MuzafarAbad Pakistan Muslim League-N won 12 seats of 18, People Party 8 and Pakitan Tehrik-I-Insaf got 7 seats, as reported unofficial and unconfirmed results of the LG elections Phase-I in Azad and Jammu Kashmir.
Reports said in Muzafarabad district council People Party won 17 seats out of 41, while Pakistan Tehrik-I-Insaf 16, Muslim Conference and PML-N 2 each and two independent.
Similarly, in district council Nelum Valley the ruling party PTI reported in lead with 7 seats whereas PML-N and PTI secured three seats each.
Reports said in Jehlum Valley district council, in 18 seats of the council PTI is leading party with 10 seats and PML-N 5, PPP got three seats.
The results are not confirm and officially announced, however the elections held in the region peacefully.
