Zia, a student from Islamia College University Peshawar has commited suicide

Peshawar: A law student at Islamia College University Peshawar has allegedly committed suicide. According to police, 23-year-old Zia, a resident of District Dir, was residing in the hostel of Islamia College. On Wednesday, his body was found hanging from a ceiling fan.

A heart-wrenching letter addressed to his father was also recovered from the student’s room. In the letter, Zia expressed his despair:

“My dear father, I am in a state that I cannot describe. I do not love anyone, nor is it a matter of romance, but I do not wish to live anymore. I cannot live in this society, and I don’t know why.”

Police have initiated further investigation into the incident.
