Funds approved for Shangla trauma centers

SHANGLA: The district council Shangla has approved funds for establishment of trauma centers in both Bisham and Puran tehsils hospitals.
It was claimed the district nazim Shangla Niaz Ahmed Khan here on Sunday while talking reporters. He said that according to the need of local residents Rs 20 million has been approved for establishment of trauma centers, Rs 10 million for each trauma center which will be established in tehsil headquarters hospital Bisham and tehsil headquarters hospital Puran.
The nazim said that Rs 60 million were also approved for construction of a Jirga hall in Alpuri for local elders meetings and session.
He said, that he has approved Rs 17 Million for construction of play ground at Chawga area in Makhoz sub-tehsil.
He also claimed that funds has been approved for phase 2 of Rokhana Shangla program under which he will distribute 150 laptops among the position holders matric students of the district.
The nazim said in phase I, he had given laptops to 84 position holders students, both Matric and FA FSC.
The district nazim claimed that all the projects have been tenderised and work on them to be started very soon.
The nazim said, the tender process for three pending ADPs 2017,18 and 19 is expected tomorrow on March 29 after that several projects would be initiated.
The nazim further added that funds of the three fiscal years can never lapse but delayed for sometime, however after tendering process the projects will be started in full swing in all respective union councils. He said these funds has given from his discretionary funds, so that meet the local needs.
