Fact-check: Nahuales not spotted anywhere in Pakistan, Viral photo from Mexico

A photo of a creature has been circulating on social media for the last several days, users change the caption while linking to their respective areas and upload on social media.
Fact: The photo was first published on November 23 by “The US Sun” an online news publication in Mexico, claiming A FARMER has claimed that a man allegedly shapeshifted into a werewolf near his ranch. Román Ochoa said the mysterious creature was a nagual – aka nahual. (Link)
The news was reported by several other publications in the Croatian language (here) (here) (here).

The creature is called Nahual and was allegedly spotted by a farmer in his field in Oaxaca, Mexico.
The belief in naguals is common within indigenous communities and populations in Latin America.
Virality: The photo of the creature has been shared on social media by Pakistani consumers claiming that the beast was spotted in their respective village at night, suggesting to avoid walking in the village at night.
The photo shared (here) (here) (here) and hundreds of other users.

The Northern Post fact-check team searched the image through Tineye, Google Reverse Image, and other tools and found the originality of the photo which was first published on November, 23 by the Mexican publication in fact it was not taken anywhere in Pakistan nor seen such the creature in the country.
