SHANGLA: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Mahmood Khan said they are stand by with the Kashmiri people and condemned the indian forces aggression in Kashmir. 132KV grid station inaugurated by CM but yet to be energised.
Chief minister Kp Mehmood Khan accompanied by minister for information and former MPA PK-24 Haji Abdul Munim inaugurated the 132KV grid station at Shang Bisham, upgradation of tehsil headquarters hospital from type “D” to type “C” and a private bus stand here on Wednesday.
“We are striving to streamline the electricity matters and Pesco has focused on recovery and vacant vacancies are being filling up, very soon the power supply related issues would be streamlined,” the CM said.
He said, transmission lines and transformers would also be upgraded gradually.
“I will announce that schemes which could be done, I am not making false promises like others. The opposition and former rulers are responsible for the current inflation because they had borrowed loans from foreign countries in which the country is stuck and now we pay that loans,” the CM, claimed.
KP chief executive, said that they have planed to establish shelter homes in every district, while in first phase the initiative is being implement in divisional headquarters and in next phase it will be extended to district headquarters which is meant to facilitate non-locals in the respective areas.
Chief minister said that Insaf Sehat cards now will be given to every citizens of the province through the national identity cards, so that every person could enjoy the facility and get treated their patients in major hospitals of the country for free.
Mr Khan announced that power supply line would be given to Chakesar tehsil from the newly built 132KV grid station.
The KP’s CM also announced special water supply project for the Bisham city and its surrounding villages.
Minister for information Shaukat Yousafzai on the occasion said, the grid station was a long stand demand of the local people because they are suffering of power outage and low voltage.
“I am thankful also to Amir Muqam who had approved the project during his tenure, however now PTI’s government finalised it has right to inaugurate it, so they should have no objection on this,” He said.
He said, CM had allocated funds for links roads, water supply schemes and other projects in the budget 2019-20 which will be used in the uplift of the district.
The Pesco official on the occasion said, there is still a fault in the grid station so it will take two days more in energising and work is in progress.
He urged the local people and minister to help the Pesco in recovery as the area is defaulter of million of rupees so that they could provide smoothly power supply to the consumers in the area.
He said, after properly energising the 132KV grid station Pesco had to change old and rusted poles and transmission lines for safe and secure power supply.
Remember, the grid station was inaugurated by the PML-N MNA Ibadullah twice last year but was not energised and still the situation is remains same.
