A young boy was shot dead by his neighbor over a petty issue in the Belkanai area of Kana tehsil on Friday morning; a man was critically injured when his rival opened fire at him in the court premises in Bisham.
Station house officer Olandar, Bakht Zeb Khan, said that a young boy who was a student in grade 10 was killed by his neighbor after a short quarrel between them over a drainage pipeline issue.
He said Ihsanullah and his father had exchanged harsh words on Thursday evening, and later, local elders had settled the issue. However, two accused, Saeed Rahim Shah and Saeed Sardar Shah, again got scuffled with Habib Ur Rehman and his 16 years old son, Ihsanullah, on Friday morning, and the accused opened fire at Habib Ur Rehman’s son, Ihsanullah, which caused his death.
SHO said they had taken the dead body to the district headquarters hospital, Alpuri, for autopsy and later handed it over to the family.
He said they lodged an FIR under section 302 against both the accused and Saeed Rahim Shah, who had been arrested, and they were conducting raids to apprehend the other one, too.
