31 hotels sealed in Galiyat for building code violations
Crackdown launched on CM's orders sees CNICs confiscated; authority reiterates zero-tolerance policy against illegal construction
Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) has sealed 31 hotels during action against violations of building codes. This action was taken by Cheif Ministry Khyber Pakhtunkhwa orders and Cheif Secretary special instructions with the collaboration of District Administration.
This operation was done under the leadership of Director Building Control GDA, Ali Asghar, Assistant Commissioner Galiyat Shamim Allah, Assistant Director PCA Haris Khattak, Enforcement Officer, KP Police and BCA staff.
Officials have confirmed that making sure the further investigation, the CNIC cards of the violators were also confiscated.
GDA representative has emphasized on the zero-tolerance policy illegal construction and enchroachment and said that this action is taken to make sure strict implication of building regulations and sustainable and orderly development in the streets.
