Flood is the divine punishment, says stage dancer Nida Chaudhry
Stage actress appeals for collective forgiveness and humanitarian support as Punjab's floods affect over 42 lakh people
Stage actress and dancer Nida Chaudhry said in an interview that the flood in Pakistan is the punishment from God, we are being punished for our sins, and we should seek forgiveness from God for our sins.
Nida Chaudhry said in a short interview that the suburbs of Lahore are also affected by the flood, and her relatives’ homes are also affected by it.
She said that her relatives’ home was damaged, but they are safe.
She also said that Sialkot, Gujrawala, and other cities were also affected badly, and the people from these cities used to visit to see her dramas.
According to her, people have suffered a lot due to floods, and that’s why no one is coming to see her dramas; we should help people.
Stage actress and dancer also told that the artist community is also there to help flood victims; however, other benevolent people should also step ahead. In Pakistan, people have too much money; they should help the flood victims.
Nida Chaudhry said that flood is a test and punishment of God, we are being punished for our sins, and we should collectively seek forgiveness from Allah.
The actress said that she is also seeking forgiveness from God, and other nations should also seek forgiveness, as the flood has caused huge damage.
It is to remembering that Punjab is mostly effected by flood, where until now more than 42 lakh people have been effected.
