Rescue 1122 Launches Search Operation at Head Marala – Family's Last Photo Session Turns Tragic

A 4-year-old child, Haram Fatima tragically drowned in the Chenab River during a family picnic at Head Marala, Sialkot. Rescue 1122 teams are conducting an extensive search operation, but her body has not yet been recovered.

According to rescue sources, the family from Narowal had visited the popular picnic spot for a day out. While taking photographs on a stationary boat near the riverbank, the young girl accidentally fell into the water and was swept away. The last images of Haram Fatima show her standing on the boat moments before the tragic accident.

Emergency responders immediately launched a search operation with divers scouring the river, but strong currents have hampered recovery efforts. The devastated family remains at the site as authorities continue their desperate attempts to locate the child.

In another incident, a 40-year-old man had a close brush with death after drowning in a canal near Faisal Hospital on Canal Road, Faislabad. The quick response of Rescue 1122 teams saved the victim, identified as Amir, from the dangerous waters.

Eyewitnesses reported that the man was bathing in the canal when he suddenly got into difficulty. Professional divers from the rescue team immediately sprang into action, successfully pulling Amir to safety using their specialized training and equipment.
