Maria B denies legal notice over transgender comments
Fashion designer calls circulated government letter "fake," vows to continue her campaign against what she calls "the culture of Lot"

Famous fashion designer Maria B has denied receiving a legal notice from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) over comments about transgender people.
Maria B has shared the video on her Instagram account and clarified that she hasn’t received any official notice from the government organisation, and the notice spread on social media is fake.
Maria B said that it is concerning that a government letter, before reaching her, reached the public.
She also clarified that if she receives any official notice, then she will reply properly will appear in front of the authorities and present her opinion related to being transgender.
She said that she was always against transgender people, and she will not allow the culture of the nation of Lot in Pakistan, and the religion of Islam is against these cultures.
A fashion designer said that the Shariah court has also called the transgender act illegal. Some people try to scare her with the threat of notices, but she is not afraid of anyone.
A news circulated before Maria B’s explanatory statement that NCCIA had issued a notice against her for an inappropriate statement related to transgender community and had started an investigation against her.

Maria B said in her statement that she will remain consistent and will keep raising her voice against activities which are against Islamic laws and family values.
She said that she will keep talking against homosexuality and trends of the nation of Lot, so that the future of children can be secured.
Maria B was also the part of conflicts in past for commenting against transgender community.
They say they are committed to defending the Islamic family system and will continue to raise their voices against activities that harm social values.
