
The death toll from the Swabi cloudburst-induced flood has risen to 16 as more bodies have been recovered by the Rescue 1122 teams in the district, and the search operation is continuing in the area.
According to Deputy Commissioner, Swabi, Nasirullah Khan, three dead bodies have been recovered so far in the Dalori cloudburst.

The overall tally from the floods reached to 358 on Tuesday.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released a report detailing the loss of life and property in various districts of the province as a result of heavy rains and flash floods.
So far, 358 people have died, and 181 others have been injured in various incidents linked to these weather conditions. The deceased include 287 men, 41 women, and 30 children, while the injured count comprises 144 men, 27 women, and 10 children.
The report indicates that a total of 780 houses have been damaged due to the rains and floods, with 431 homes partially destroyed and 349 completely destroyed. In the most flood-affected district, Buner, 225 people have been displaced.

These incidents have occurred in several districts: Swat, Buner, Bajaur, Mansehra, Shangla, Dir Lower, Battagram, and Swabi.
Heavy rainfall is expected from August 17 to 19, and the current series of rains is likely to continue intermittently until August 21.
The administrations of the affected districts have been directed to intensify relief efforts and provide immediate assistance to the victims. The Emergency Operation Center of the PDMA is fully operational, and the public can contact the free helpline at 1700 for information on any incidents, weather updates, or assistance needs.
