According to the details, the Traffic Awareness Campaign led by SSP Traffic Qamar Hayat Khan has entered its third phase, focusing on promoting road safety and responsible driving among motorcyclists. As part of this phase, hundreds of free helmets were distributed to the public — with SSP Qamar Hayat Khan himself personally taking part in the distribution and delivering awareness messages on-site.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Qamar Hayat Khan stated:
“Wearing a helmet is not just a legal requirement, it’s a life-saving habit. Every motorcyclist must ensure their own safety and that of others. Following traffic rules reflects a responsible and civilized society. Abbottabad Traffic Police remains committed to protecting the lives of our citizens.”
The public welcomed the initiative and praised the efforts of the Abbottabad Traffic Police in promoting safety through action and education.
