Three women and one man in Chitral committed suicide by jumping into the River in the last two days.
The dead include a 9th-grade student, a teenage girl, a married woman, and a man. The man took his life after three days of marriage.
In the first incident, a teenage girl related to Chew Bazar jumped into the river. Meanwhile, in Upper Chitral, a newly married man, a resident of Raman village in Laspur valley, took his life by jumping into the river.
According to the Police, the man married just three days before his suicide, and the search for his body continues. In one more incident, a married woman of Niswar Gol also committed suicide, and later her body was found. Similarly, a girl studying in class 9th, from Village Kusht in Morkho area of Upper Chitral, took her life too. She was studying in Islamabad and came to Chitral to spend her vacations with her parents. Police are continuing to investigate to determine the cause of all the incidents.
