
A heavy rain coupled with thunderstorms hit Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday and Sunday night.
According to the reports that the heavy rain caused disruption of power supply in multiple sectors and towns in the twin cities.
Senior journalist, Sabkh Syed, said in his post that heavy rain lashed the city while roads seemed like ponds.
He says the rain, strong winds have continued for the last hour.
Israr Ahmad says a house collapsed in Kahota, where a minor died while two others were injured, and heavy flooding was seen in the area.
The national and provincial disaster management authorities had informed the public about the possible tough weather conditions, predicting pre-monsoon rains.
