No Compromise on the Mandate of the Engineering Council! says, Young Engineers Pakistan
The recent elections of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) have made history, as engineers across the country elected Engr. Waseem Nazir as Chairman through a transparent and democratic process. This victory is not just about one individual but a testament to the unity of Young Engineers Associations and their commitment to securing the future and rights of engineers. By electing Engr. Waseem Nazir, young engineers have sent a clear message they want action, not just promises.

On the other hand, certain self-serving individuals, driven by personal interests and egos, are attempting to undermine PEC’s democratic mandate. These elements are conspiring to paralyze PEC, which is, in reality, a conspiracy against the progress of the engineering community.
A Plea: Do not damage PEC for the sake of a committee.
This is not the first time young engineers have stood up for their rights. In the past, they united to defeat the unlawful facilitation of diploma holders and successfully opposed the establishment of CIDB. Today, once again, all factions of young engineers stand united, resolute in their commitment to defend PEC’s mandate against any attempt to weaken it.
No Compromise on PEC’s Autonomy
Young engineers make it unequivocally clear that PEC is an independent and autonomous body and will not be sacrificed on the altar of personal grudges or political agendas. We demand that any unconstitutional attempts to undermine PEC cease immediately, and the autonomy of the engineering community be respected. Should anyone try to cripple PEC, the collective strength of engineers will deliver a decisive response.
Furthermore, we warn that those conspiring against PEC will soon be exposed. Every plot against the council’s autonomy will be uncovered, and the engineering community will ensure these schemes are brought to dust.
We are united, we are vigilant, and we will not compromise on our rights. Every attempt to paralyze PEC will fail!
