Aloch police here on Thursday claimed to have recovered a huge quantity of sub-standard hazardous desi ghee being sold in the Aloch bazar and arrested the accused.
A statement issued by the DPO office said that while taking action on tip-off the station house officer, conducted a raid and arrested the accused, and seized the sub-standard hazardous desi ghee from his possession.
It said the accused Noshad Ali had been selling the hazardous ghee brought from his native town Charsada and 15 boxes of the ghee recovered from him and cases under sections 269/273 of Pakistan Penal Code registered and begun further interrogation.
