Shangla masses vowed to socially boycott drug addicts

ALPURI: Residents of Shangla on Friday vowed to socially boycott the drug addicts and peddlers to force them to quit the bad habit.

The decision was made at a meeting held at the office of sub-divisional police officer, Alpuri, where local elders, DRC members and social activists were present.

SDPO Amjad Khan urged the local notables to cooperate with police in eradicating use of drugs from the area.

The locals on the occasion assured support and cooperation to the police and announced social boycott of drug addicts and peddlers.
