SHANGLA: Heavy snowfall was received in upper parts of Shangla district here for second consecutive day turning the region severally cold.
The snowfall in upper parts including Shangla top, Yakhtangay, Lelonai, Ajmeer, Per Khana, Speen Ghar, Gamtal, Kandaw was started on Tuesday evening and continued till filing this report and the snowfall had covered the area mountains in snow blanket.
Similarly, the rain was continued in Shangla plain areas, Bisham, Puran, Chakesar, Shahpur, Karora, Dandai and other areas and severally cold remained.
On the other hand temperature was recorded below the zero in upper parts which forced the local people to stay inside the houses in harsh weather.
