SHANGLA: The Shangla police have launched search and strike operation against law violators, Including an accused 70 suspects have been arrested in two days raids conducted in different police circles of the district.
A statement issued by the district police officer, office here on Tuesday, said that search and strike operation was launched in Shangla, while in first phase raids were conducted in Alpuri, Bisham, Chakesar, Puran, Martung circles and arrested including a proclaim offender and 70 suspects and recovered huge quantity of arms from their possession.
It said that the search and strike operation to be continued in the district, while almost forces, Elite, RRF Commandos, Ladies police, BDS squad, Special branch and DSB officials are being participated in the operation.
According to the statement on the special directives of the DPO, police personals have been deployed at entry and exists points of the district for search of vehicles.
It said that all circles SDPOs were appointed for the supervision of ongoing operation, while SHOs are also being engaged in the security action.
The police statement said, during search of rented houses they have arrested dozens of suspects and registered cases against them for violation of law.
The DPO in a statement stressed on public for cooperation with police during the raids, so that they could success in eliminating evils from the society while putting the criminals behind the bars.
