Shangla nazim inaugurated several projects

SHANGLA: SHANGLA: District Nazim, Shangla, Niaz Ahmed Khan inaugurated several development projects here on Saturday, for which he had allocated funds in the annual development programme 2018-19.
The district Nazim has laid the foundation stone of reconstruction of Rural Health Center Karora damaged the building, Basic Health Unite Chawga, prefabricated Shekolai hospital, Shekolai playground, Baab-e-Shangla gate, general bus stand Lelonai, Gharai Hujra Chakesar and inaugurated 4 E-libraries in the different schools of the district.
While, speaking media-persons, the district Nazim said that, he had allocated Rs 10.40 million for the reconstruction of a section of RHC Karora, which was collapsed in 2010 flash floods.
He said, Rs 27.00 million were allocated to the reconstruction of BHU Chawga which was demolished by Earthquake reconstruction authority in 2005 but due to the shortage of funds with it, the contractor had left halfway, so now work on it resumed.
He further said, that Rs 04 million given to the construction of Bab-e-Shangla gate which is being built at Shangla, the entry point of the district, while Rs 13 million for Shekolai playground, Rs 04 million for the reconstruction of a Hujra in Chakesar and Rs 2.3 million for general bus stand in Lelonai.
He said, Rs 02 million were allocated for repair of Alpuri press club.
The Nazim, said, these projects will help to overcome the issues of the public of the district, also the Bab-e-Shangla would help to boost the tourism in the district.
He said, work on the projects has been started, whereas funds released to the relevant departments for the initiatives, particularly for E-libraries, the purchase of new furniture, equipment, and machines to education and health departments.
He claimed, Laptops, cash prizes, and scholarships will be distributed among positions holders students of metric and intermediate on August, 25, today at Alpuri.
