Shangla district reported a new positive case of coronavirus at Martung tehsil on Thursday, taking the district tally to 15.
Deputy Commissioner, Shangla Imran Hussain Ranjha, told reporters on Thursday that a suspected patient of covid-19 test resulted positive at Martung tehsil.
He said, mostly cases reported from Puran tehsil and the area had been sealed since first case reported from the area a week ago.
DC Shangla added that four covid-19 cases were local transmitted and the rest of cases had travel history, however, they are taking measures to stem the virus in the area.
He said, the female positive case was the wife of Khan Bahadar, Mr Bahadar had also tested positive and isolated a week ago, three cases so far reported from Martung area.
