Shahida from Pakora, Ishkoman, has turned her entrepreneurial ideas into a thriving business. She produces a variety of seabuckthorn products, including jam, green tea, dry powder, and seeds, which she supplies locally and to other cities. Shahida is now working on branding and certification to further expand her market reach.

Her Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) journey has been supported by Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) through micro-grants and mentorship as part of the Improved Resilience to Climate Change of Communities and Ecosystems (IRCCCE) project, funded by UBS Foundation and co-funded by Aga Khan Foundation (AKF UK). This initiative is empowering 30 business ideas across 10 disaster-affected union councils in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral.
