Mountains in North parts of the country received the season’s first snowfall and intermittent rain lashed across the district on Monday which turned the weather cold while breaking a long spell of hot weather.
Shangla, Mansehra Naran, Babusar, Skardu and parts in Shangla Including Spenghar, Gamtal, mountains of Lilownai received first snowfall of the season and caped the peaks of the mountains with snow and including Bisham city, Alpuri, Puran, Chakisar, Shahpur, Dandai, Martung and other areas of the district lashed internment rain.
According to the local people of Damorai said that cold wave had been started blowing in the area after Spenghar and its surrounding mountains received its first snow of the season.
They said that they had started wearing warm cloths to protect themselves from the cold winds.
A rush was also seen outside the Chpal Kabab, Fish and other hot foods restaurants in the district after rain and snowfall on mountains.
The electricity in Bisham city and surroundings was also disrupted after rain received on Monday due to which people faced problems.
