A four-year-old student was killed after hitting by a heavy vehicle at Kunshi area of Bisham here on Tuesday.
According to police the class nursery student, son of Kheta was returning to his home along with his elder brother in Kunshi area, where he attempted to jump up to the vehicle but he fell underneath of tyre.
Police said, the Mazda driver took the kid to tehsil headquarters hospital Bisham where doctors pronounced him dead.
A week ago in the same place on the Karakoram Highway a speedy dumper had hit a 5 year old kid and died on the spot.
The local people on the occasion have demanded of the government concerned authorities to take action against speedy heavy vehicles and ensure safety of the children, especially near the schools.
