SHANGLA: The drug authority in Shangla has banned sale various type of hand sanitizers which not meeting the Pakistan standard and causing effect on hands.
A notification issued by the drug inspector Shangla to all pharmacies in Shangla and Kohistan districts mentioning about the ban on sale of Sanitizers that are not confirming to Pakistan standard.
It said, 23 different type of different brands Sanitizers have been declared non confirming by Pakistan standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA).
It is mentioned on the notification that all pharmacies in Shangla and Kohistan have been directed to stop sale of the provided list brands sanitizers with immediate effect.
It said strictly action would be taken against the violators if any pharmacy, medical store found violating the involve in the sale of non-confirming sanitizers.
