SHANGLA: Regional police officer, Malakand division, Muhammad Ali Khan asked the Shangla police to be vigilant against subversive activities and improve the defense system and implement standard operating procedures SOPs of police to protect their respective areas, and circles from any threat.
The Malakand division regional police officer, Muhammad Ali Khan on Friday visited different areas of Shangla recently came under attack of terrorists and met the police personals who had repulsed the heavy armed attacks on the check posts. The RPO was accompanied by district police officer, Shangla, Imran Khan, DSPs and other police officials.
RPO Malakand visited police stations, check post at Yakhtangay and inspected the buildings and appreciated the police personals who countered the attacks and forced the miscreants to escape.
Later, the RPO held a meeting with the senior police officials in police station, Aloch and directed the police officers to improve the defense system in their respective areas police stations, police posts and implement SOPs.
RPO also inspected police station Aloch which one of its check posts was attacked by terrorists recently and ordered its security improvement on the spot and urged the police to ensure safety of public lives, their honour and wealth and use all available resources for it.
He asked the police to remain in close contact with the public to get advance information about any arrival of any suspected miscreants into Shangla.
He had strict directed the SP Investigation to trace out the case of theft occurred in the limits of police station Olandar.
RPO Malakand announced rewards and recognition certificate for Jawans of PP Yakhtangy and Directed DPO to forward their recommendation file.
He also discussed the prevalent situation with Public representatives to seek their support and cooperation to maintain law and order situation in the district.
RPO also met the local political leadership and offered condolences with former MPA Fazalullah on his mother demise.
Earlier the day, DPO Shangla gave away appreciation certificates and cash prizes to those police personals who had thwarted the terrorist attack on Yakhtangay police post on the Independence day night.
DPO praised the police team for their brave response to the miscreants who had attempted to take the police lives and sabotage the district peace.
