Public transporters stands sealed for SOP violation

SHANGLA: The district administration Shangla has sealed two public transport stands at Bisham city for not adopting standard operating procedures (SOPs) after easing the lockdown imposed after covid-19 pandemic.
The deputy commissioner, Shangla, Imran Hussain Ranjha accompanied by assistant commissioner, Bisham, Khuram Rehman Jadoon raided on general bus stands and shops and sealed two of the stands for not taking precautionary measures from covid-19 as after easing lockdown the government instructed the bus stands and shopkeepers to adopt SOPs for covid-19.
DC Shangla inspected all the general public transport stands and inquired about the fare too and instructed the rest of terminals management to must follow SOPs safety precautions otherwise strict action would be taken against them.
Later on, DC Shangla told reporters that they were are going to ease the lockdown further but for which the traders, fuel stations and all other private centers must have follow the government proposed SOPs of safety measures in order to control the deadly virus further.
He said, in this stage administration in support with police would get ensured use of sanitzers, masks, while in crowded places such as general bus stands the terminals management has to ensure availability of handwashing facilities at their respective stands to keep the general public safe from the coronavirus.
MEANWHILE, Assistant commissioners of all the district tehsils distributed face masks among the general public meant to create awareness among them.
AC revenue Azhar Zahoor at Alpuri, AAC Anwar Ali at Chakesar and AC Fazal Wahid at Puran gave away the face mask and informed the general public about the government guidelines of adopting safety measures for keeping themselves from contracting the covid-19.
They also instructed the shopkeepers to ensure use of face masks and sanitizers at their shops while dealing customers.
COVID: Member provincial assembly from PK-24 Shangla II, Faisal Zeeb Khan and assistant commissioner, Alpuri, Wajid Ali have tested positive for covid-19 her on Wednesday.
Officials in the health department Shangla informed that in the new confirmed cases of coronavirus the ANP’s MPA from Shangla and AC, Alpuri who has been performing his duty as forefront in the pandemic had tested positive for the deadly virus and he isolated himself at his house.
