SHANGLA: Police in Martung tehsil have arrested a proclaimed offender wanted in a murder case and recovered arms from his possession.
The police said that the proclaimed offender, identified as Afsar Nabi, was arrested during a raid. They said that a heavy machinegun, a Kalashnikov and 22 cartridges were also recovered from his possession.
Meanwhile, Shangla police said on Friday that SHO Fazal Elahi raided a house in Dandai, Bisham tehsil, and recovered hashish from there. They said that they arrested the alleged drug peddler, Mohammad Iqbal, and had registered a case against him.
