PNCA organized a three day Drama Festival

Plays were presented by students and youth groups from universities and colleges across Pakistan

The three-day Drama Festival organized by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) concluded today with colorful performances. Today, the first and second plays were presented by GCUF, while the stand-up comedy was also presented by GCUF. Revenant presented the third play, while the fourth play was presented by QDC. Finally, a musical band performance was presented by Team Rasta. The chief guest of the ceremony was Humera Arshad, a prominent television artist and producer. Assistant Professor Dr. Sara Ali and Dr. Faisal Zaki Naqvi were also the special guests on the third and final day. They distributed prizes to the winners of the first, second and third positions in the three-day drama festival. Dr. Waqar Azeem, PhD scholar Farhan and Murtaza of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts performed the duties of judges. A large number of spectators were also present on the last day, who applauded the artists. The students captivated the audience with their effortless acting. The three-day drama festival at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts showcased thought-provoking plays by students and theater groups of Tamaasha 24 University. It was organized in collaboration with the Dramatics Club, Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad.

Plays were presented by students and youth groups from universities and colleges across Pakistan. Plays, acting and cultural dances of young students from all over Pakistan were included in the festival. Presenting a blend of performances by theater groups of Pakistani students, socially relevant plays were presented which provided a quality entertainment experience to the residents of the twin cities. Presentations on theater accessories were given during the festival. This festival is showcasing the talent of various theater groups to provide entertainment to art lovers in the federal capital. While all the plays had some story and message, which combines strong impressions with acting, dialogue delivery and script technique. In addition to providing quality entertainment to the audience, this event will also promote healthy activities among youth and revive the concept of theater in the twin cities with a focus on the theme of peace, love and harmony.
