PML-N urges safely evacuation of coal miners

SHANGLA: Pakistan Muslim League-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president, Amir Muqam has urged the government to safely evacuate the coal mine workers from their workplaces while scanning them of coronvavirus.
The PML-N provincial chief was talking to journalists in Shangla during a visit to tehsil headquarters hospital, Puran on Tuesday. The hospital medical superintendent, Doctor Abdul Ghafoor was present on the occasion who briefed the PML-N leader about the cases and shortages at the facility.
He said, there were thousands of colliers of the Shangla who work at coal mines at the different parts of the country but since the lockdown they were stranded at the deserted places of coalmines and awaiting evacuation.
The PML-N leader urged the government to arrange transport for miners and safely evacuate and safely bring them to their homes after their scanning of coronavirus because their loved ones worried for them
He said the government should make availability of covid-19 tests facility in all the province district for timely tests as Shangla people and hospitals staff wait for weeks to tests.
The PML-N leader also showed his concern about the shortage of PPEs, ventilators and other facilities at the district hospitals where the doctors combating against the coronavirus.
“The government is failed in provision equipment to hospitals and now asking public for donation which is ridicules. In this crucial time government should focus on to save public lives and allocate all the available funds as well as the cabinet and MNAs, MPAs salaries to make possible the patients treatment,” He critsized the government.
The PML-N leader appreciated the front liner doctors, paramedics, police and other people struggling to stem the deadly virus.
He also assured the THQ hospital Puran staff that he would donate required equipment to the hospital from his own expenses.
