Senior security forces, tribal elders and civil representatives join hands to discuss local security and development of Balochistan

A peace jirga was held in Sui, Balochistan, bringing together senior security officials, tribal elders, and civil representatives to discuss local security and development. Major General Abid Mazhar, Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) Balochistan (North), led the talks with community members and social workers.

Tribal leaders at the jirga appreciated the improved security in Dera Bugti, Sui, and nearby areas. They praised the Frontier Corps Balochistan for its hard work in maintaining peace. The elders also showed strong support for state institutions and security forces in their counter-terrorism efforts.

Major General Mazhar assured the community of the Frontier Corps’ dedication to protecting civilian lives and property. He also highlighted the FC’s efforts in providing education and healthcare services, along with their main duty of ensuring security.

The jirga focused on teamwork between local communities and security forces to maintain peace in the region. Civil administration representatives also joined the discussions, focusing on development projects and security plans for the future.
