C.Munro and K.Williamson made partnership only for 19 run and C.Munro got out on catch by Haris Sohail on Shaheen Afridi’s ball on 12 runs in 17 balls. K. Williamson and R. Taylor unfortunately R. Taylor got out by Pakistani Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s marvelous catch on Shaheen Afridi’s ball on 3 runs in 8 balls and T. Lathem got out on 1 run on 14 balls by Sarfaraz Ahmed’s catch on Shaheen Afridi’s ball, K.Williamson and J.Neesham were better than last batsmen and took their partnership long and second partnership was very good in line C.de Grandhomme and K. Williamson, C. de Grandhomme got out by run out on 64 on 71 balls, K. Williamson on 97 in 112 balls and M. Santner 5 runs on 5 balls were not out. Overall runs were 237 on 6 wickets 50 overs. New Zealand got 9 extras run. New Zealand gave 238 runs target to Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi took three wickets, Amir and Shadab khan took 1,1wikets. At the start of first inning before toss weather forecast created problem.
After the first inning pitch changed mood and condition; not only Pakistani teams got problems in Bating but also New Zealand in bowling; in other words pitch turns for spinners specially leg spinners, this changing was very rough which changed game mood.
Imam ul Haq, Fakhar Zaman, babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez, Haris Sohail, Sarfaraz, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Wahab Riaz, Muhammad Amir and Shaheen Afridi were included in Pakistani bating line Imam ul Haq and Fakhar Zaman started as openers. They made their partnership for 19 runs anf Fakhar zaman was caught out by Martin Guptill on Trent Boult ball on 9 runs in 10 balls, Fakhar Zaman was good in start but at the end of Trent’s over he lost his wicket, the ball raised high and Guptill ran and catch. It was big loss for Pakistan. After fakhar imam gave his wicket to New Zealand as gift on Lockie Ferguson’s ball. The ball hits deck hard and came on imam; ball hits the top of the bat and lobs up unexpectedly raise towards the nearest place of Guptill, Guptill ran and caught the ball. Imam got 19 runs on 29 runs with 35 runs partnership with Baber Azam, Third batsman Haris Sohail and Hafeez were the next partnership Muhammad Hafeez got out by Lockei Ferugson catch on Kane Williamson’s ball on 33 runs in 50 balls. Babar Azam made their strong and biggest partnership with 208 runs. In this partnership Pakistan got 236 runs overall and achieved her chance to win. It was a Yorker ball and dropped near to the stumps but Haris was ran out from the pitch without judge the ball destination and ran but Guptill came fast picked the ball by dive and dropped stumps Harish gone on 68 runs in 76 balls. Baber Azam was shouting to backup but it had to late. Haris did his best to best work done on pitch; the next was Pakistani captain and Wicket keeper Sarfaraz Ahmed with relaxed and wining mood because before that wicket Pakistan was near to her target to win, Pakistan needed only two runs for won the match. Sarfaraz Ahem on 5 runs in 3 balls and Babar Azam on 101 runs in 127 balls went not out. Pakistan made 241 runs over all got 7 runs by extras; Babar Azam served as Man of the match title.
After this wining New Zealand wasn’t unbeatable and now New Zealand have her two hard matches with Australia and England, to qualify in next step, England already have lost its points and won’t be loss her space from next step. Australia is on top of the point list.
