Karachi : Iranian Consul General Hassan Noorian emphasized that Pakistan and Iran can play a crucial role in establishing world peace. He praised Pakistan’s stance against the atrocities in Palestine and acknowledged the enthusiasm and affection for Iran among the Pakistani people. Nourian also highlighted the historical connection between the two regions,noting that Persian rule would have prevailed in the subcontinent if British imperialism hadn’t intervened.
During a meeting with a delegation from CLIFF Pakistan, Nourian stressed the importance of strengthening cultural and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Iran. He encouraged promoting harmony between the two countries and expressed Iran’s willingness to host more pilgrims and tourists. Nourian also asked for assistance in handing over the hosting of an international award to Iran.

Nourian reiterated Iran’s commitment to peace and its willingness to confront oppression against the Muslim Ummah. He praised Hezbollah’s resistance against Israel and called for more practical steps from the Pakistani government to prevent incidents like Parachinar. Secretary Syed Qalbe Muhammad echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the need to promote tourism, education, trade, and diplomatic relations between Iran and Pakistan.President Shanaz Ramzi, International Coordinator Beenish Abidi and Nabila Jafri are a part of CLIFF delegation.
